For Puma’s This Is My Legacy series featuring longtime collaborator Dave Jeff, this was not a cold hire. We had already spent years working with both Puma and Dave in Chicago through grassroots projects and his brand PHLI. That history mattered. We knew his story, his people, his corners of the city, and we had a deep mix of footage and moments from being around long before this episode existed.
When it came time to tell his legacy story, our work sat at the intersection of strategy, intelligence, and selective production. We helped shape what this piece should actually say about Dave and how it should feel inside Puma’s series format. We drew from his own archives and from media we had captured across years of community work, then curated what belonged on screen and what did not. From there, we added only the production that was truly needed to connect the narrative: a few key scenes that tied his journey, his neighborhood, and the brand together without losing the reality of how he moves.
The episode performed strongly across social channels with a combined twenty five thousand plus views, but the more important signal was how it lived after the initial drop. People saved it, reshared it, and kept pulling clips and images into articles, posts, and conversations about Dave and Puma.
